Seminar on swine breeding in Pyatigorsk

On May 16-19, 2023 in Pyatigorsk, a seminar "Systemic approach to growing and improving performance in swine breeding" was held which organized by NovaKorm company. Leading specialist of the technical department Misma Pro, Ph.D. Mikhail Zhuravlev was invited to the event as an expert, where he presented to the participants new developments in the field of swine feeding.

The working program of the seminar assumed an active mode of work for the participants and included, in addition to reports on topical issues, a presentation of the production of vaccines and information about new drugs.

MISMA presented the participants a series of feed solutions for swine diets at different stages of the production cycle. Presentations of MISMA’s feed programs are built on the principle of "from theoretical provisions to practical solutions" and provide for an analysis of the use of feed additives at pilot enterprises. During the presentations, Mikhail Zhuravlev spoke about solutions to improve the digestibility of diets for piglets, as well as about the practice of introducing feed additives to reduce the effects of stress factors.

Misma GABA is an anti-stress additive that reduces heat stress, cannibalism in factories and increases feed intake and animal productivity.

As well as localized by Misma and produced on the territory of the Russian Federation mycotoxin adsorbent MismaSorb, which is responsible for reducing mycotoxicoses and feed stress and improving the integrity of the intestinal mucosa.

The topics covered aroused great interest among the seminar participants and lengthy discussions during breaks and at the end of the working session. In the process of communication and exchange of experience in an informal setting, colleagues discussed acute problems in the diagnosis and prevention of diseases, the peculiarities of preparing recipes for various aspects of production and the use of feed additives at different stages of cultivation.
