Modern aquaculture requires solutions that combine economic efficiency, environmental friendliness and maximum nutritional value. The basis of such solutions are feed components, from proteins and fats to vitamins and functional additives.
At the seminar, MISMA presented its line of ingredients and special additives for high-quality and safe aquaculture feeds. The company was represented by Pavel Dmitriev, a leading sales manager, and Mikhail Zhuravlev, a leading product manager, Candidate of Biological Sciences, with a presentation on "Phytase - a tool for increasing the efficiency of fish farming."
Phytase is relevant for inclusion in the diet, as it increases the absorption of phosphorus and reduces water pollution, as well as supports the activity of digestive enzymes, increases the absorption of trace elements, supports the health of fish and increases body weight gain. The wide range of MISMA enzymes includes phytase in the liquid form of Misma Fit Liquid, ideal for all types of fish and use in extruded feeds.
The results of experiments on the use of phytase in the feeding of industrial fish species, conducted at water enterprises, confirmed that the inclusion of feed phytase in the diet leads to an increase in productivity and an improvement in the feed coefficient.
In addition to the main topic, Mikhail spoke about the need to combat anti-nutritional factors of feed, about the composition and falsifications of raw materials for aquaculture feed.
At the end of the seminar, the participants discussed topical issues in the field of feed production for aquaculture in the Russian Federation, exchanged views and outlined ways to further develop production.
We thank the organizers for the invitation and the wonderful event, which has become an effective platform for sharing experiences and strengthening professional ties.
