The seminar program was rich and covered the key parts of the dairy industry — growing of the feed base, production of premixes and feeds, feeding and herd management systems, as well as the processing of manufactured products.
The participants visited the factory of Suzhou Menon, the largest manufacturer of protected feed additives for cattle, where MISMA and Menon experts presented the latest developments in the field of feed additives and feeding rations aimed at improving the efficiency of the enterprise at all stages of the production cycle. During the tour of the factory, the guests were shown high-tech infrastructure, automated lines and strict quality control systems to ensure the production of products that meet international standards.
The next point of the route was the Shenfu dairy farm. The participants managed to see:
- modern cowshed with sophisticated microclimate system and automated feed supply;
- facilities for calves with perinatal management and optimal development conditions;
- automated milking parlor, which is used for milking 3 times a day;
- feed mill and silo buildings, where advanced methods of feed conservation are used.
As part of the exchange of experience, Chinese experts spoke about the state of the dairy industry in China and the industry's development trends. The seminar participants also learned about integrated feeding technologies aimed at improving the production performance of dairy cows.
As a demonstration of the effectiveness of the presented feed technologies, the Russian guests visited the Junlebao Group of companies, the TOP 1 agricultural holding in China. The group of companies includes the Institute of genetics, grain production, dairy farms, premix and feed mills, and the largest factories for the production of powdered milk and yogurt. It is China's leader in milk production and the country's third largest cattle company.
The seminar guests visited the scientific research center, the museum of the holding's history and the modern Leyuan farm with 10,000 Holstein cows.
The Junlebao Group of companies implements the "Fresh milk in two hours" concept thanks to an integrated system: there are crop fields, a premix and compound feed production plant, a farm, dairy and dry milk shops, as well as a research center and laboratories on the same territory. The day ended with a round table in the company's office, where Russian specialists discussed topical industry issues with their Chinese colleagues.
In addition to the business program, the participants enjoyed an intense cultural program that allowed them to get to know the traditions of China better.
The seminar was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and open dialogue. Russian specialists gained valuable knowledge and the opportunity to see advanced technologies in action.
We would like to thank our colleagues from Menon for their hospitality, professionalism and openness!
