Functions

Due to the high content of biologically active substances (saponins, sarsaponins, polyphenols), Yucca Schidigera extract has a wide range of beneficial effects:

reduction of the odor of excrement, concentration of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and other gases;
stabilization of metabolic processes in the body of domestic animals;
regulation of the balance of stomach and intestinal flora.

The powder of the dried and crushed medicinal plant, Yucca Schidigera, is successfully used in pet food.

Composition: dry extract from the Yucca Schidigera plant, sarsaponin content – at least 60%, B50 value – no more than 4 mg*.

Appearance: loose powder, from light to dark brown colour with a characteristic odor, insoluble in water.

* The B50 value is an indicator of the effectiveness of a product with the ability to bind free ammonia. It is expressed in milligrams of extract, which is necessary to reduce the ammonia content in an aqueous solution by 50%.
