Betaine acts as a methyl donor and an osmoprotectant. It regulates intestinal epithelium health and increases stress tolerance. Being part of the metabolism process, Betaine improves energy and nutrient absorption from the diet. This reduces feed costs, and unbinds methionine and choline from the methylation process, directing them to other specific functions.
