The event was held at the industrial sites of Menon, one of the leading manufacturers of feed additives and amino acids for animal husbandry in Asia. Menon enterprises are distinguished by a high level of automatization, modern laboratories and logistics centers, where the most up-to-date scientific and technological developments are applied. The company is actively implementing advanced technologies aimed at improving production efficiency and product quality.
Maxim Timoshkov, CEO of MISMA, delivered a welcoming speech in which he spoke about the company's development plans.
During the working sessions of both directions of the seminar, innovative feed solutions developed by the technical department of Misma were presented, with an emphasis on:
- improving the health of the gastrointestinal tract in animals
- strategies for phasing out antibiotics
- reduction of the cost of feeding
- support animals under stress
- improving the quality of meat products
- ensuring the safety and quality of feed.
These solutions have been developed taking into account the new challenges of modern animal husbandry and are aimed at increasing productivity, disease resistance and improving economic performance of production.
The Menon speakers shared the state of China's poultry and pig farming industries, as well as the experience of raising animals in farms under their patronage.
The uniqueness of this seminar was the participants' visit to the new Menon plant. This allowed to see in practice how innovative projects in the production of feed additives are implemented, as well as to gain a complete understanding of modern approaches to the organization of technological processes. During the excursion to Suzhou, we visited the production, got acquainted with laboratory control and quality assurance systems at the factory.
A group of poultry farmers was taken on a trip to the Sundaily poultry farm in Chengdu. There, technologists demonstrated modern methods of poultry farming, including automated systems, strict control of environmental conditions and optimization of animal care processes.
Pig farmers visited the Tongwei Group office and the holding's production plants for the production of compound feeds and premixes, where warehouses, production lines and logistics processes were shown.
Visits to museums and natural attractions were organized for the participants as part of the cultural program. We thank our colleagues from Menon for their warm and hospitable attitude, as well as for the opportunity to host the event at such a high level.
The seminar was an important step in the development of cooperation and popularization of innovative solutions in animal husbandry. We are confident that the experience gained will help participants choose the best practices and implement them in their enterprises to improve production efficiency and quality.
