An effective additive for silage harvesting, haylage and preserving of high-moisture flattened feed grain. The use of Misma Sil Chem improves the quality and aerobic stability of silage or haylage.

Misma Sil Chem contains organic acids (formic and propionic), which have bactericidal and fungicidal effects, and also increase the acidity of the canned mass to a pH of 4.2-4.5, which is an important factor for suppressing the development of undesirable microbiological and biochemical processes when preserving feed. Sodium formate reduces the corrosive properties of the additive and the evaporation of the constituent components, propylene glycol enhances the anticorrosive properties of the composition.
Composition: formic acid, sodium formate, propionic acid, propylene glycol, colorant, water as a solvent.
Appearance: brown solution.
Method of application: the feed additive is added to the preserved mass of flattened grain, annual and perennial grasses in undiluted form before storage.
- in cereal grasses 5 liters/MT of weight,
- in legumes and annual herbs 6 liters/MT of weight,
- in corn 3 liters/MT of weight.
Into flattened canned grain:
- with a moisture of 35-45% - 3-4 liters/MT of grain,
- with a moisture of 30-35% - 4-5 liters/MT of grain,
- with a moisture of 25-30% - 5-6 liters/MT of grain.
